The tropic vegetation of Cuba consists of thousands of plant species. Besides the Cuban royal palm and further hundreds of palm species there are coniferous forest, indeciduous rain forest, at the coastlines mangroves, hundreds of orchid species, in dry areas cactaceous plants. At wide areas are cultivated agricultural plants. Here we see mango trees, pineapple fields, of course sugar cane, banana plantation, oranges, papaya, avocado, grapefruit, lemon and a lot more. As well as cocoa, coffee, and tobacco.
